With the release of the notification for the lok sabha elections, the process of filing nominations for the lok sabha elections in haryana including Gurugram started on Monday. On the first day, two leaders including bjp candidate Union minister Rao Inderjit Singh filed nominations. chief minister Nayab Singh saini arrived to file the nomination of Inderjit. After this, the nomination public meeting of Rao Inderjit Singh was held in Civil Line area.

Returning Officer and DC of Gurugram parliamentary constituency Nishant Kumar Yadav said that a total of two nominations are included on the first day of the nomination process. In which the nominations of Rao Inderjit Singh from bharatiya janata party and an independent candidate Fauji jai Kanwar Tyagi (Dixit) are included. Nomination papers of the candidates will be filed from 11 am to 3 pm till May 6, meanwhile May 5 has been kept as sunday holiday.

Election symbols will be allotted on May 9

Nomination papers will be scrutinized on May 7 at 11 am. Candidates can withdraw their nomination papers till 3 pm on 9th May. After this, election symbols will be allotted on May 9 itself at 3 pm. Nominations are being taken in the DC court Room located at the mini Secretariat. The Returning Officer said that the responsibilities of officers and employees have been fixed for scrutiny of candidates and applications coming for nomination and all other preparations.

Permission has been given to bring only 3 vehicles.

The nomination work is being conducted with complete transparency and as per the instructions of the election Commission. For this, duty of different officers and employees has been imposed for all the works including scrutiny of nominations, security deposit etc. He said that as per the instructions of the election Commission, the candidates coming for nomination have been allowed to bring only 3 vehicles within the perimeter of the mini Secretariat. Only three people will be able to enter the nomination room along with the candidate.
