Delhi police has summoned jharkhand Pradesh congress President Rajesh Thakur in connection with uploading and sharing an edited fake video of Union home minister amit Shah's speech on social media. In the summons sent under section 160/91 of CrPC, he has been asked to appear before the investigating officer of delhi police on May 2 at 10.30 am. Rajesh Thakur has been asked to bring along his mobile phone, laptop, tablet or any other electronic device, which may have been allegedly used to share the fake video on 'X'.

FIR registered against 2 people in Argora police station of Ranchi

Bharatiya Janata party workers have also lodged an FIR against two people at Argora police station in ranchi for sharing fake video of the Union home Minister. Those who have been nominated include Shailendra Hazra and Rupesh Rajak. This FIR has been registered on the application of bjp Janata yuva Morcha state office minister Sanjay Kumar Mahato. bjp workers have provided a copy of the video to the police through a pen drive.

‘An attempt to present wrong facts before the country’

According to bjp workers, on the issue of reservation, amit shah never said that it would be abolished. The fake video is not only a personal defamation of amit shah but it is also an attempt to present wrong facts before the country.

Delhi police is continuously taking action

Let us tell you that delhi police is continuously in action mode in the case of edited video of Union home minister amit Shah. 16 people including telangana chief minister Revanth reddy have been called for questioning in connection with the case. Time has been sought by mail from the lawyer of telangana chief minister and other 4 leaders. Along with this, delhi police has sent notice to 12 more people in the case.
