The alliance in andhra pradesh appears to have regained momentum with the recent visit of top bjp leaders to the state. While prime minister Narendra Modi's previous visit a month ago lacked direct criticism of the incumbent government led by Jagan, the arrival of rajnath singh has injected fresh enthusiasm into the alliance. Singh's scathing critique of the ycp government, echoing the sentiments of the tdp, has galvanized supporters.

Singh didn't mince words, labelling the ycp administration as the epicentre of corruption and highlighting the staggering debt burden plaguing andhra pradesh, which he claimed amounts to Rs. 13.50 lakh crores. He questioned the delay in completing crucial projects like polavaram despite adequate central funding, placing the onus squarely on the state government's lack of initiative.

Piyush Goyal, another prominent bjp figure, joined in the onslaught against the ycp, accusing the ruling party of regressing andhra pradesh over the past five years through alleged collusion with liquor and sand mafias. He criticized the mismanagement of funds allocated by the central government, emphasizing the necessity of the nda coalition for the state's progress and development.

The tdp leadership, previously disheartened by the absence of bjp leaders in andhra pradesh, now finds solace in the robust stance taken by Singh and Goyal. Their vocal condemnation of the ycp government is seen as a pivotal moment for the alliance, signalling a renewed commitment to the upcoming election campaign. With promises of more central ministers visiting andhra pradesh shortly, the alliance anticipates a significant shift in the political landscape, potentially turning the tide in their favour.
