AAP will be made an accused in delhi Liquor Policy case

ED said during the hearing in delhi High court that aam aadmi party will be made an accused in the next charge sheet to be filed in the case related to the excise policy scam.

Along with arvind kejriwal, his aam aadmi party is also going to data-face problems in the delhi liquor policy issue. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on tuesday told the delhi High court that AAP will be made an accused in the next charge sheet to be filed in the excise policy. At the same time, ED has also opposed the bail application of manish Sisodia in the court.

ED lawyer Zoeb Hussain said in Justice Swarnkanta Sharma's court, "AAP is being made a co-accused in the next prosecution complaint (charge sheet) to be filed in the case." The investigating agency's lawyer said that charges have been framed in the case. Efforts are being made by the accused persons to delay the process.

At the same time, manish Sisodia's lawyer, while requesting bail for his client, said that ED and cbi are still arresting people in money laundering and corruption cases and there is no question of the trial being completed soon. Further debate on the bail petition is going on.

When was the new liquor policy implemented?

Let us tell you that delhi Government had brought a new excise policy in 2021. But by the year 2022, it came under question. On BJP's complaint, lg VK Saxena had recommended a cbi inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the formulation and implementation of this policy. After this ED registered the case and started investigation.

AAP leader Satyendra Jain, former deputy cm manish Sisodia, rajya sabha member sanjay singh and cm arvind kejriwal were arrested in this case. sanjay singh has come out on bail, while arvind kejriwal has got interim bail till june 1 for election campaign.
