Reportedly the per capita income of the state in 2011-12 was Rs 48,499 annually, i.e. Rs 4 thousand per month. Now the per capita income in odisha has increased to more than Rs 1.5 lakh. In the last 24 years, naveen patnaik has implemented every policy regarding Odisha's economy, education system, health facilities and food security, due to which odisha is currently among the fastest developing states in the country.
