He told that both have been admitted to a hospital in Chandigarh. sumit Khimta said that late on friday evening, Joginder Singh, a resident of Nohradhar village, called and informed the district administration about the two women tourists being trapped. The team provided immediate medical aid to the tourists and later teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) also reached the spot. He said that after the home Ministry and External Affairs Ministry were informed about the incident, two army helicopters were requisitioned.Sumit Khimta said that at around 6:30 am on saturday, two army helicopters landed in the area and the stranded tourists were rescued with the help of NDRF and SDRF personnel. According to the administration, considering the condition of the women, it was difficult to bring them on a normal stretcher. Therefore the help of air Force was taken. After this, on saturday morning both the women were airlifted with the help of Cheetah helicopter of the air Force. Let us tell you that this is not the first time that a case of tourists getting trapped on Churdhar peak has come to light. Even before this, many people have been trapped here, who have been rescued with the help of the administration.
