The shocking act of a robber bride has come to light in jodhpur district of Rajasthan. The robber bride got married here with great pomp and two days later, left her husband alone on the road and ran away with her lover on a motorcycle. Despite searching, the victimized groom could not find his bride anywhere, so the victimized groom has filed a case in the police station against four-five people including his wife's relative. The victim groom told the police that just two days after getting married for Rs 3 lakh, the bride eloped with someone else. Luni police is currently busy investigating the entire matter.

Luni police station officer Hukam Singh said that Bhanwar Singh, resident of Sir Sarecha village, has registered a case of fraud against his relatives Babu Singh, Guddi Kanwar, prem and others, residents of Patau village under Kalyanpur police station of Balotra district. The victim has accused all of them that his marriage was not going on. Then uncle and Anu Kanwar's brother-in-law Babusingh called him and aunt and talked about the relationship. She had assured to get married to Guddi Kanwar son of Narayan Singh of Kharia Khangar village near Gotan.

Claiming himself poor he had asked for Rs 3 lakh

Guddi Kanwar's family members described their financial condition as weak and poor. He had asked for Rs 3 lakh in exchange for marriage. On this the victim and his family members were impressed by his words. On april 16, the engagement of Bhanwar Singh and Guddi was done in a house in the colony near Khokhariya Fanta. Then on april 18, both of them got married. The accused took Rs 30 thousand on april 16, then Rs 2.55 lakh on april 18 and Rs 15 thousand on april 20 from the phone. This amount was deposited in the account of Jitendra Chaudhary.
