Congress suspended Phillaur mla Vikramjit Singh…Congress has suspended mla Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary from the Phillaur seat of punjab due to anti-party activities. He had made statements against the party's candidate from jalandhar and former cm Charanjit Singh Channi. After this statement, the party has taken action against him. Vikramjit was opposing Channi's candidature from the jalandhar seat. Let us tell you that Vikramjit's mother Karamjit Kaur had joined bjp on 20 April. She had contested this seat in the last lok sabha elections but had to data-face defeat. In a letter written to Vikramjit Singh Choudhary, punjab congress in-charge said, "The unrestrained statements being made by you, deviating from the guidelines of the party, are not by the dignity of your position. This is tarnishing the image of the party organization and the public and the Congress." A wrong message is being sent among the workers."Punjab congress in-charge said, "Despite several warnings given to you personally, anti-party activities continued. In such a situation, you are suspended from all posts in the party." Targeting congress candidate from jalandhar Charanjit Singh Channi, Vikramjit Singh Choudhary had called him 'Shakuni'. He said that just as 'Lord Krishna' punished 'Shakuni' and his group, in the same way, the voters of jalandhar will teach Channi a lesson for betrayal by throwing him out.Former cm Channi had said that he is going to jalandhar like 'Sudama' and is appealing to the people of Doaba to take care of themselves like 'Lord Krishna'. vikram singh Choudhary had also pointed toward the electoral defeat of former cm Channi from Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur areas during the 2022 punjab Assembly elections. Vikramjeet is the son of late congress MP Santokh Chaudhary. He had tendered his resignation as the party's Chief Whip in the punjab Assembly. Voting for 13 lok sabha seats of punjab will be held on june 1.
