Giving information, Civil Surgeon Dr. Kripal Singh said that since wednesday till now, 40 patients have come here, out of which 20 have died. 11 people were admitted to Rajindra Hospital in Patiala. 6 patients have been admitted to Sangrur Civil Hospital. He also said that three patients had left without consulting the doctor.


Arrest in Sangrur poisonous liquor case

The police are seriously investigating the poisonous liquor case in Sangrur. After this death due to poisonous liquor, a 4-member SIT team was formed under the leadership of ADGP rank officer Gurinder Singh Dhillon. The police are moving forward professionally and scientifically to uncover the nexus behind the entire case. police have so far arrested 6 people in this case. Many more people are being interrogated. According to police officials, casualties have been reported from Gujran, Tibbi Ravidaspura, and Dhandoli Khurd villages of the Didba and Sunam blocks. On the other hand, the attacks of opposition parties on the bhagwant mann government of Punjab's aam aadmi party regarding this matter are continuing.
