Reportedly the third seat is of jodhpur, where bjp has fielded gajendra singh shekhawat against Congress's karan Singh Uchirada. Here it is Rajput vs Rajput. For the third time, bjp has retained its faith in Shekhawat, the trusted data-face of the party's central leadership.

Perhaps jodhpur is the home constituency of former cm Ashok Gehlot, although the congress has fielded Pilot loyalist karan Singh Uchirada against Shekhawat. He has worked on various positions in Congress. Voters are keeping a close eye on this contest between two Rajput leaders.

Furthermore the next seat is Chittorgarh, where bjp state president C.P. Joshi has been fielded against former congress minister of State Udaylal Anjana. During the tenure of Chittorgarh mp Joshi as state bjp chief, bjp won the assembly elections. This seat is important because it is his home area. Joshi's differences with Chittorgarh mla Chandrabhan Singh Akya are no secret. After not getting the ticket, Akya left bjp and contested the assembly elections as an independent and won. Since then, he has verbally attacked Joshi for playing an important role in not giving him the ticket. There were discussions that Aakya could contest the lok sabha elections against Joshi. However, on Sunday, chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma played the role of mediator and helped in brokering a reconciliation between the two leaders, making things easier for the BJP. To counter Joshi, congress has placed its bets on Udaylal Anjana, who was a cabinet minister in the Gehlot government. Anjana has also been an mp from this area. This is a fight between former congress mp and bjp MP.
