However, on Sunday, chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma played the role of mediator and helped in brokering a reconciliation between the two leaders, making things easier for the BJP. To counter Joshi, congress has placed its bets on Udaylal Anjana, who was a cabinet minister in the Gehlot government. Anjana has also been an mp from this area.
