Many major decisions have been taken in the cabinet meeting held today under the chairmanship of chief minister Eknath Shinde. In this meeting, many big decisions like theme park in mumbai, mandatory presence of mother on government documents were agreed upon. The State women and Child Welfare Department has taken an important decision. Apart from this, it has been made mandatory to write mother's name along with father's name on government documents.

Major decisions of cabinet in Shinde government

1- BDD will reduce the stamp duty on hut holders and hut holders' contracts.

2- workers of 58 closed mills will be given housing.

3- government guarantee of Rs 24 thousand crore for MMRDA projects.

4- Financial assistance of Rs 850 crore will be taken from KFW for the development of infrastructure in Mumbai.

5- Independent Training Center of State Excise Department.

6- 522 new posts approved in GST.

7- New director post in State Excise Department.

8- Judicial officers holding LLM degree will get the benefit of 3 advance increments with retrospective effect.

9- State level plan for new building for the offices of Law and Justice Department.

10- Institutional capacity building project for the development of districts in the state.

11- Plot for construction of maharashtra Guest house in Ayodhya.

12- Incorporation of two government Colleges and government Institute of Forensic Science and Sydenham Institute of Management Studies as constituent colleges into the Group university of Dr. Homi Bhabha State university, Mumbai.

13- World class mumbai Central Park will be built on three hundred acres of land in Mumbai.

14- Mother's name is now mandatory on government documents.

15- Extension of electricity rate rebate scheme for the customers of Upsa Water Irrigation Scheme.

16- Approval for upgradation of 61 aided ashram schools.

17- Employment, self-employment scheme to raise the standard of living of tribals.

18- Approval of State Tertiary Policy 2024.

19- Assured Progress Scheme for employees of private recognized schools in the State; Expenditure of Rs 53 crore 86 lakh approved.
