Will BJP target Naveen Patnaik this time in Odisha?

As per report bjp has emerged rapidly in odisha, this is the reality. Despite this, naveen patnaik is still the leader of odisha politics and it will not be easy for bjp to give him a tough challenge in the upcoming assembly elections. In the last two and a half decades, naveen patnaik has rejuvenated odisha with his political and administrative abilities. He has made his mark as a leader and administrator who talks less and works more. This is the reason why he is also called the silent seeker of indian politics.

Meanwhile naveen patnaik has been the chief minister of odisha for almost 24 years. He is going to complete his fifth term. If Biju Janata Dal succeeds in retaining power in the upcoming assembly elections, then naveen patnaik will hold the record of serving as the chief minister for the longest period in the country. Currently, this record is in the name of pawan kumar Chamling, leader of sikkim Democratic Front. Pawan Chamling was the chief minister of sikkim for 24 years and 166 days between december 1994 and May 2019. naveen patnaik is at second position in this matter.

Moreover if 77 year old naveen patnaik wins the assembly elections this year and completes his sixth term, then in 2029 he will have a record of being the chief minister for 29 consecutive years. Reaching this milestone in future will be a very difficult task for any leader.
