Through this operation, the indian Navy had rescued 19 Pakistani crew members from one ship and 17 crew members from another Iranian ship. indian Navy posted the video of this rescue on Instagram. After the rescue, all the Pakistani crew members expressed happiness and together said to the indian Navy, "Thank you for saving lives." After this, an officer of the indian Navy said bye-bye and asked him to leave properly. The warship INS Sharda and a patrol ship were also involved in this action of the indian Navy.

Rescue done from INS Sumitra

Taking immediate action in less than 36 hours, INS sumitra has rescued hijacked ships in the Southern Arabian Sea. The Navy said in the statement that in such cases the pirates are usually disarmed, so that they do not pose any threat to other ships. On behalf of the Navy, it was said that currently INS sumitra has been deployed in the eastern coast of somalia and gulf of Aden for anti-piracy operations.

Piracy increases off Somali coast

According to the report of Hindustan Times, new challenges have arisen in the arabian sea in the last few months. Piracy has increased again in the gulf of Aden and the Somali coast. However, in view of the increasing threats here, the Navy has increased surveillance in the Arabian Sea. Pirate attacks in the region peaked between 2008 and 2013, but have declined due to the efforts of the Multinational Maritime Task Force in the region.
