2022 - A Year of Successful Sequels !
The success rate of the tollywood film industry is greatly influenced by a variety of factors, and recent research has shown that the story is the key component in the success of the movies. It's interesting to note that 2022 is regarded as a good year for sequels. Unexpectedly, a lot of the sequels that were published this year were successful. Typically, there is a misconception that sequels will never succeed in the telugu cinema business. However, we can prove this with a list of sequels that were successful this year.
Drushyam 2
In 2014, victory venkatesh achieved success with Drushyam. He returned in 2021 with Drushyam 2. It was a remake of Drishyam 2, a malayalam movie. Drushyam 2 did well with the audience even though it was released exclusively digitally.
Bangarraju
Banggarraju is a follow-up to king Nagarjuna's 2016 film Soggade Chinni Nayana. This year's Sankranthi saw the release of the film, which was a commercial success.
Karthikeya 2
In August, Nikhil Siddartha and director Chandoo Mondeti released karthikeya 2. With more over Rs. 100 crores in revenue, it went on to become a success all across India. Compared to its predecessor, it was more successful.
KGF Chapter 2
By earning more than Rs. 1000 crores, Yash's kgf 2 became one of the biggest hits in indian film history. Additionally, it was more popular than its predecessor.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
Akshay Kumar was replaced by bollywood actor kartik aaryan in the 2009 follow-up to the 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiayya. Similar to the first instalment, this film also enjoyed tremendous success at the box office.
HIT : The Second Case
Adivi Sesh plays the main character in HIT 2, while Vishwak Sen played the lead role in HIT 1. Recently published HIT 2 is receiving a resoundingly favourable reception from the audience. It is anticipated to be a box office success without a doubt.
