Glass Gandam For Alliance In AP

SIBY JEYYA
There has been much discussion on JanaSena's electoral symbol for some time now. There were initially concerns about whether the election commission would award the JSP the glass emblem; however, this did not come to pass and the party was given the symbol. There is currently another problem about electoral symbols that impacts not just the TDP+ partnership but also JanaSena.

Glass is now a free symbol, meaning that any candidate in an assembly or parliamentary seat where Jana Sena is not running may use it. This declaration comes from the european Commission. The alliance has a headache because of this. Notably, the glass emblem is widely used and deeply ingrained in the public consciousness as the Jana Sena election symbol.

This will have a negative effect for seats without JSP candidates because there's a possibility that some voters may become perplexed and cast their ballots for the glass symbol rather than the tdp or bjp candidate, which the JSP is supporting through the alliance. This may be an attempt at distraction. It has been reported that the glass sign has already been registered for independent candidates in 14 assembly constituencies.
