The management of State-run power companies has allegedly begun taking action against their workers for power interruptions in their jurisdictions, in response to criticism from opposition parties and the public over incidences of regular power outages around the State.

After a 30-minute power outage in the region on Saturday, musharraf Farooqui, the Chairman and Managing director of Southern Power Distribution Company of telangana Limited (TSSPDCL), suspended the Habsiguda Circle Divisional Engineer. According to reports, the administration is also taking legal action against Nagaram's Additional Assistant engineer (AEE) for a comparable power supply interruption.

After a video of a minor power outage cutting off former minister Ch malla reddy from speaking at a polling place in the Nagaram region went viral on social media, the CMD allegedly took action against the personnel. When the corporate office was informed of the situation, the CMD requested a report from the Chief General Manager and the Superintendent Engineer.

During a recent visit to the home of former minister V srinivas Goud, leader of the Opposition and BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao said that regular power outages occurred in Mahabubnagar. Numerous instances of power outages have also surdata-faced in the past, but each time the State administration denied that there was a power deficit in the State.

Chief minister A revanth reddy had sent warnings to authorities about power shortages and even said that field-level employees employed under the previous government were intentionally causing power outages to discredit the government.

Power authorities, however, asserted that the Opposition was applying pressure on workers carrying out their duties in a demanding environment.

The system is under tremendous strain as a result of the unheard-of spike in electricity consumption. The State has an abundance of authority. An official stated, "We are working to satisfy the increasing demand.

According to reports, authorities responsible for power outages within their various jurisdictions are facing legal action from the management of the State-run power firms.

The electricity staff is under a great deal of strain as a result, which is impacting their work. The congress party has been under fire for its inability to deliver a steady supply of electricity ever since it became office in the state.
