Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry: Telugu songwriter Passed Away!
The latest tragedy is the disappearance of legendary songwriter Padmashree Sitaramashastri. He succumbed to pneumonia on the 24th of last month while undergoing treatment at kims in Hyderabad.
Doctors say that Sitaramashastri's health is stable and there is no need to worry. Suddenly, he fell seriously ill. As for Sitaramashastri, he was born on 20 May 1955 in Anakapalle, east godavari district.

In 2019, the Center honoured him with the padma shri title. Sitaramashastri is the second person to receive a songwriter award in Telugu. Earlier, Dr. C. Narayana reddy received the Padma Award.
It is unfortunate that many of the most talented songwriters before them did not receive the Padma Awards.
