AIMIM mp Imtiaz jaleel has made an open offer to congress leader Naseem Khan. The party has invited him to contest elections from mumbai on AIMIM ticket. Imtiaz jaleel wrote in a post on 'X' that "Why resign from the post of just a star campaigner? You should resign from a party which only wants Muslim votes but not their leadership." Imtiaz jaleel further wrote, "Naseem Khan Bhai, why don't you contest elections on AIMIM ticket which we are ready to give you in Mumbai. This is a good deal, show some courage and take advantage of the opportunity."

Arif Naseem Khan has also written a letter to party president mallikarjun Kharge in this regard. Told in the letter that he will not campaign for the lok sabha elections. "Out of the total 48 lok sabha seats in maharashtra, MVA has not nominated even a single Muslim candidate in maharashtra," he wrote in his letter. He also mentioned that "Many Muslim organisations, leaders and party workers in maharashtra were expecting the congress to nominate at least one minority community candidate, but unfortunately that did not happen." Arif Naseem Khan further wrote in his letter, "Due to all these reasons, I will not be able to data-face the Muslims and I will have no answer for the Muslims."
