No holidays for Non-Telangana festivals in Telangana?

Sankranti is a Hindu festival celebrated in almost all parts of India and Nepal countries. As we all know It is not a Andhra festival. But, for Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao, its a Andhra festival. From long years, Telugu speaking people across globe have celebrated this festival in traditional manner with rangolis in front of their houses. However, for KCR feels that Telangana culture is effected in the united AP and it needs to be given a fresh lease of life . He has started thinking like a narrow minded person targeting the Telugu culture and branding Sankranthi as Andhra festival. In this regard it is learned that he clarified that the holidays will be based on the Telangana festivals only and declared only two days holidays for celebrating the Sankranti festival. In this way, KCR might declare Christmas and Bakrid as non Telangana festivals and cut short the holidays for christmas. Hope so he don’t risk it as he might lose the support of MIM party.
