Zero Buzz for May Releases
If we take out Vishwak Sen's Gangs of Godavari, there are a number of low-budget films coming out in May. May 3rd will see Jithender Reddy, prasanna Vadanam, and Sabari on television. Although Suhas' prasanna Vadanam teaser is passable, the movie needs great buzz to make money. With Sabari, a Telugu-dubbed tamil movie, varalaxmi sarathkumar is trying her luck. For Virinchi Varma's Jithender Reddy, there are no promos, and there are rumours that the release date has been pushed back.
Krishnamma, a long-awaited film by Satyadev, will finally open on May 10. The movie is also not getting much attention. May seemed to have little hope save Vishwak Sen. Gangs of Godavari's teaser is jam-packed with action, and the movie is going to start off strong. The release date of Gangs of Godavari and Kajal's next movie, satyabhama, is set for May 17. There isn't much excitement about satyabhama and its promotional operations haven't started yet.
On May 25th, ashish Reddy's love Me will be released. No high hopes have been placed on the movie. Although MM keeravani wrote the music, none of the songs were officially registered. The release of Sudheer Babu's Haromhara, a popular entertainment, is scheduled for May 31st. All of the May releases aren't getting much attention right now. The IPL has a significant influence on the number of people attending evening and nighttime performances, and election fever has swept the telugu states. We will have to wait and see which movie does well at the box office in May 2024.
