India's Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has issued an advisory on three serious vulnerabilities in networking company Cisco's products that allow hackers to gain access, infiltrate computer systems and steal data.Vulnerabilities in Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) software could allow attackers with root-level privileges to unexpectedly reload the device and execute arbitrary commands and code in the underlying operating system. of service (DoS), CERT-In said in its latest advisory.

The reported software has a 'Command Injection Vulnerability' where the contents of the backup file are improperly purged at restore time.
