Ambani upset by fake Bitcoin site!!
Within just 2 weeks of an announcement by the reliance group about their entry into crypto currency sector, a huge scam has happened with their name. In India, it has now become a craze for youngsters to invest in crypto currencies like Bitcoin, and a fraud team has taken advantage of this situation and exploited the people using reliance company name.
The fraud Gang has created a website named reliance-jiocoin.com, and they've mentioned in the website that the site is maintained by reliance corporation, and also quoted the price of one Jio Bitcoin as 100 rupees, and also asked for details of the users, like name, mobile number, email ID etc. However with the widespread reach of the internet, the news of this website spread like wildfire, and soon, the fake website was blocked. In this tech strong days, it had become common for fraudsters to involve in online fraud activities, and government of India and reserve bank of India has always been informing people and trying to create awareness on online frauds.
It was in such a scenario that, the telecom giant reliance decided to enter crypto currency field as well. While Ambanis are upset by this fake website, it has been revealed that Akash Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani will be heading a 50 member team to manage the reliance crypto currency team, and research is being made on block chain technology and supply chains of crypto currencies.
