The rise and fall of Kavuri

 The noted Congress MP from Eluru Kavuri Sambasiva Rao was making headlines over the past few months after the union cabinet expansion. The matter became so hot that even Prime Minister had called to speak to him but Kavuri was not willing to compromise as he was adamant on having a union cabinet berth.  But nothing lasts for long and the speed with which Kavuri’s issue was taken up on high priority with the same speed he has been cut to the ground level. It is heard that no one in high command cared much about Kavuri’s resignation and everyone got busy. This dawned on the MP at a later stage and he began initiating a ‘compromise’.  As a result, it is heard that two of Kavuri’s close aides got DCCB posts. For someone who was aiming as high as a union cabinet berth, getting just two DCCB directors post for two followers was more like a consolation gift. In the end of it, Kavuri has now become a laughing stock among his colleagues.
