Ajit Doval News: The order of the Ministry of Personnel states that Ajit Doval's appointment will be with the tenure of PM narendra modi or till further orders.

The Modi government has once again expressed confidence in Ajit Doval and appointed him as the National Security Advisor (NSA) for the third time. Doval is a 1968 batch IPS officer. The official order states that his appointment will be with the tenure of PM Modi or till further orders. At the same time, Dr. PK Mishra will remain the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister.

An order issued by the Personnel Ministry said, 'The Appointments Committee of the cabinet has approved the proposal to appoint IPS (retired) officer Ajit Doval as National Security Advisor, which will be effective from june 10, 2024. It said that Doval will be given the status of a cabinet Minister in the order of seniority during his tenure.
