While he was studying in the 8th standard in the local school, on march 21, the boy's parents were unwell and gave him an injection at a private pharmacy owned by Ramalingam's son senthilkumar (40) from Madhulur in the same area.The parents admitted the boy to the salem Government Hospital for treatment when he suddenly suffered from vomiting and fainting. While the boy was receiving intensive treatment there, the boy died on march 25.Based on the complaint filed by the boy's parents at Attur city police station, the city police registered a case and conducted an investigation. Later, while waiting for the boy's post-mortem report, the boy's autopsy revealed that he died due to a wrong injection. In this case, the private pharmacy owner senthilkumar has been arrested by the Attur city police and is being investigated.
