Counting will be done under supervision of observers…

Now less than two days are left for the counting of votes for the lok sabha elections. Counting of votes for 29 lok sabha seats of the state will be held on june 4. The election commission has completed all the preparations for the counting of votes. In this connection, Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan inspected the counting place located at the old central jail in Bhopal. In view of the scorching heat, he instructed to make necessary arrangements including coolers, fans, cold water, medical kits, ambulances, fire brigade at the counting place.

Instructions given to arrange these things

Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan visited the counting rooms made assembly wise and took stock of the preparations. He also saw the security arrangements of the strong room. He took information regarding the counting table, the number of officers and employees engaged in the counting work, and the security arrangements.

Apart from this, he also inspected the control room and discussed with the representatives of the election candidates staying in the counting place premises. The representatives expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements of the strong room and saw the monitoring arrangements of the strong room through CCTV. He instructed to make arrangements for TV, computer, internet, water, cooler etc. in the media center.

Strong security arrangements

Anupam Rajan said that preparations have been completed to conduct the counting of votes in a peaceful and transparent manner in all the 29 lok sabha constituencies of the state on june 4. Strong security arrangements have been made during the counting of votes. Along with this, proper security arrangements have been made to maintain peace even after the counting of votes.
