After Poll results, will nitish kumar resign as cm of Bihar?

Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, could step down "very soon," if rumors circulating in the political corridors are to be believed. Some people defined "very soon" as "about three weeks," while others chose not to provide a precise time period. But does this indicate that Tejashwi Yadav and the congress in the state will once more team up with the "king of flip-flops" if nitish kumar does step down? After all, critics claim he has been acting like a political yo-yo ever since he left the national democratic alliance in 2013, ending Janata Dal (United)'s 17-year tenure. Thus, the inquiry would not be unwarranted.

However, those bringing up his "resignation" argue that the aging JD(U) leader will adhere to the nda, unlike previous instances. Some think he may open the door for an OBC, like Kumar, to become the chief minister of Bihar. The most likely candidate is deputy chief minister Samrat Choudhary, who is from the Koeri caste. They maintain that this was the condition for accepting nitish kumar back into the NDA. After all, the seat-sharing arrangement has already revealed a little something about the larger brother: the bjp has contested in 17 lok sabha seats, while JD(U) has done so in 16.

But when asked, neither one from the JD(U) or bjp had any comments to make on this. Rather, the majority disregard it as "gossip." But as nitish kumar landed in New delhi on Sunday, this "gossip" is becoming more and more popular by the hour.

Upon arriving at 7 Lok kalyan Marg on monday morning. Later on, Kumar is expected to meet with amit shah, the union home minister. It'squite acceptable to refer to the meeting as a polite exchange between the prime minister and the chief minister, but the timing feeds gossip. On this day, the bjp distributed a five-page form to each of its candidates, which was supposed to be completed and handed back to JP Nadda, the leader of the party, in order to choose the members of the Modi administration 3.0's council of ministers. Following PM Modi, Shah, and Nadda's meeting on Sunday, this exercise was initiated.
