There will be relief from the scorching heat!!!

Due to increasing heat in maharashtra, there are indications of early arrival of monsoon. On one hand the heat is increasing in the state and on the other hand the monsoon is advancing. Monsoon is likely to enter kerala on May 31. Monsoon is likely to arrive in mumbai and Konkan between june 10. Monsoon is expected to arrive in Marathwada, Vidarbha including Nashik, Pune, Kolhapur, Solapur by june 15. Meanwhile, there is a possibility that the scorching heat will increase in the few days before the monsoon. Cyclone 'Remal' has hit the coast of West Bengal. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain in many areas in maharashtra also. The sea waves are surging on the Konkan coast. High waves are being seen on the coast in many parts of 27 districts of Konkan, Khandesh and Central maharashtra including Mumbai. Heat like conditions are likely to persist till june 1. The temperature is above 40 degrees in 18 districts of the state. The temperature in Yavatmal has crossed 45 degrees, while the temperature in Jalgaon has reached 43 degrees. 

Heat wave alert in Maharashtra

The temperature has increased significantly across the country including Maharashtra. Heat wave alert has been given in many states of the country. It is likely to enter mumbai as well as Konkan around june 10. After reaching Konkan, the Meteorological Department has predicted the arrival of monsoon in Khandesh, Nashik, Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur and Solapur districts as well as Marathwada and Vidarbha during june 15. Monsoon is expected to reach entire maharashtra by june 20.

Cyclone speed more than 130 km per hour

The speed of Cyclone Ramal formed in the Bay of bengal is expected to be more than 130 km per hour. The storm will cross the West bengal coast today and move towards Bangladesh. Strong wind and rain have started. Trees have been uprooted at many places. NDRF team has reached West bengal, Odisha. In view of Cyclone Ramal, red alert has been issued in bengal and Odisha, while rain warning has also been issued in ten neighboring states.
