The main accused in Ghatkopar hoarding incident has not got relief from the court. The court has extended the police custody of Bhavesh Bhinde till May 29. Let us tell you that recently 17 people died due to falling of hoardings in Ghatkopar area of Mumbai. After the tragic accident, the police arrested Bhavesh Bhinde. The hoarding was operated by Bhavesh Bhinde's advertising company. Bhavesh Bhinde had absconded after the accident.

The police was searching for Bhavesh Bhinde after registering a case of culpable homicide. On May 16, the police arrested the accused from udaipur in rajasthan and brought him to Mumbai. After appearing in the court, Bhavesh Bhinde was sent to police custody till 26 May. The crime branch is investigating the Ghatkopar hoarding incident. On Sunday, the Crime Branch produced Bhavesh Bhinde in the Metropolitan Magistrate's court before the end of the remand period. Crime Branch said that the Ghatkopar hoarding case is under investigation.

The court accepted the demand for more time to interrogate the accused. On the appeal of the Crime Branch, the court sent Bhavesh Bhinde on remand till May 29. Accused's lawyer Rizwan Merchant opposed the crime branch's appeal. He said that the matter is only related to the fall of hoardings. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the court extended the custody of Bhavesh Bhinde till May 29. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation says that permission was not given to put up hoardings. On May 13, 16 people lost their lives and dozens were injured when a huge illegal advertisement hoarding fell on a petrol pump in Ghatkopar.
