The experiment that succeeded mayawati – legacy…

Mayawati declaring her brother's son as her successor does not come as a surprise, because the Bahujan Samaj party has limited itself only to the election game. Whatever ideological currents for change in the society have been centered around Hindu supremacy, all the parties that consider them as their political heritage have become family heritage. Leaving aside technical arguments, the leadership of congress is in the hands of the fifth generation. The third generation of karunanidhi is ready for political succession in tamil Nadu. The second generation of social justice has taken over the leadership in Bihar. In Uttar Pradesh, socialist Mulayam Singh chose the son as his political successor between brother and son.

One exception in this series is that when Maharashtra's sharad pawar hinted at handing over his political legacy to his daughter, his male nephew ajit pawar almost rebelled against him. chirag paswan became the political successor of ram Vilas Paswan, he did not have to make any announcement. An example of conflict between brother and nephew is also found there. If we closely study the manner in which political succession is being handed over in indian political parties, it can be helpful in clarifying to what extent indian society has become modern and democratic at the ideological level. In this sense, BSP leader mayawati declaring her nephew as her successor is not an isolated political trend.

As long as caste is acceptable for politics in indian society, the culture of the family and its turban will remain firmly established. An opinion has also been formed about the indian society that just as the caste classes use the guise of religion for their own interests and accordingly politicize religion in the name of the nation, on the other hand, similar casteism exists among the deprived sections too. By creating beauty, it creates the illusion of considering the race to power as a competition.
