How to Download Lok Sabha Voter Slip..?
India is currently conducting lok sabha elections. Three phases have already been completed. The fourth phase is scheduled for May 13. In this, elections will be held for 17 lok sabha seats in telangana and 175 assembly and 25 lok sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh. As the election day approaches, the election commission is gearing up to assign polling officers, transport Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and ensure security at polling stations. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) distribute voter slips to eligible voters. But some voters may not receive the slips.
It is important for every voter to have their voter slip, but sometimes, due to various reasons, not everyone gets it before election day. To address this, the election commission has come up with a solution. Voters can download their voter slips online. These slips contain important information like voter's name, age, gender, assembly constituency, polling station location, room number, polling date and time. Additionally, the slip contains a QR code which, when scanned, quickly reveals the voter's details.
• To download your voter slip online using mobile app
1. Download 'Voter Helpline App' from google Play Store or apple Store.
2. Open the app and select 'Download E-EPIC'.
3. Register your mobile number and create a password.
4. Receive OTP on mobile. It has to be entered in the app.
5. Next, enter the EPIC number found on the voter ID card.
6. If you do not have EPIC number, application reference number can be used instead.
7. After entering the OTP, the voter slip will appear. The slip can be downloaded directly from the app.
• Steps to download voter slip from website
1.Visit the website https://voters.eci.gov.in.
2. Login by entering mobile number and password. Then enter the OTP received on the phone. Click on 'Download E-EPIC'.
3. Enter the EPIC number. That's it, the voter slip will be available for download.
