Amidst the lok sabha elections, republican party of india chief ramdas athawale has raised the political temperature in maharashtra with his statement regarding Sharad Pawar. He said that I meet sharad pawar every day in Delhi. He said that even though our parties are different, we are friends. Ramdas Athawale's statement has come at a time when voting for the third phase of lok sabha elections is to be held on May 7.

Athawale said that now ajit pawar has come with us, sharad pawar has stayed, we will continue in this direction. Will think about." ramdas athawale also said that I was expected to get some seats but it did not happen. We were not given even a seat, despite this I am with BJP. He said that if Mahayuti leaders had tried, we could have got some seats. He said that I am a rajya sabha MP till 2026 and even after this I will remain with the Mahayuti.

Ramdas Athawale further said that I did not get the seat, but I am still with Mahayuti. We have talked to Devendra Fadnavis. Athawale said that we will get a ministerial post at the Centre.
