The incident caused a stir when a fight broke out between the shop staff and the customer at a popular restaurant in chennai, and the shop staff beat up the policeman who had come to eat.

 Assault on a customer at a popular restaurant

There has been a commotion due to the Vadanadu staff beating two youths who came to have dinner at the Sangam Restaurant opposite the Periya Masjid on Anna Road, Chennai. A police constable went to eat with his friend at the Sangam Restaurant on Anna Road in chennai at around midnight. Then the hotel staff asked us to sit on another seat. They asked the staff what was wrong with eating there as we were in the same seat and ate. Due to this, there was a conflict between the hotel staff and the customers. At one point both the policeman and his friend were assaulted by a northerner working in the Sangam restaurant with weapons including a wooden spoon.

Police investigation

In this, one of the two customers who came to eat at the restaurant, a young policeman, was injured in the back and his shirt was torn. Shocked by this, the public who came to the restaurant complained to the police. The Tiruvallikeni police immediately rushed to the spot and conducted an investigation. Subsequently, the North State youths and the policeman were taken for questioning. It shocked the customers and the public when the customers who came to eat at the restaurant were kicked out when they had to serve food.
