Milind Deora said on seat sharing, 'Congress data-faced uddhav group...'

Rajya Sabha mp Milind Deora expressed his opinion on seat sharing in Mahavikas Aghadi. Deora said the congress gave too much ground to Shiv Sena-UBT while making the seat-sharing deal for the lok sabha elections in maharashtra and especially Mumbai. Milind has joined Eknath Shinde's faction shiv sena this year.

Milind Deora said that if his party wanted, he was ready to contest elections from the mumbai South constituency. Milind has represented this seat as a congress mp from 2004 to 2014. Speaking to news agency PTI, Milind Deora said that it is unfortunate that congress has surrendered to a party that it neither trusts nor values as a coalition partner. Milind Deora said, "I know what the congress party thinks about uddhav Thackeray."

Under the seat-sharing agreement between congress, Shiv Sena-UBT and ncp Sharad Chandra Pawar, uddhav Thackeray's party will contest from mumbai South, mumbai South-Central, mumbai North-East and mumbai North-West, while congress will have only two seats in Mumbai. North and mumbai North-Central have been left out. On this, Milind said that this decision was not liked by the local leadership of congress because congress traditionally fought on five out of six seats in Mumbai.

Milind made this claim about Congress

Milind said, “After the seat-sharing agreement was finalized, the party's city unit chief varsha Gaikwad openly expressed her dissatisfaction. I know very well what congress leaders felt when the MVA was being formed in 2019, and I know they are feeling the same even now.
