A local hotel owner on sunday stopped a tempo on Taloja MIDC Road when it was carrying eight cows towards nearby Mumbai. An official from Taloja police station said that the cows were crammed inside the tempo and were being transported without proper permits, food, and other essentials. He said that later, four more cows were found in a pitiable condition from the premises of the four accused in Taloja.
