Is Jagan's Press Meet Too Late?

SIBY JEYYA
YS jagan Mohan Reddy, the head of the YSRCP, is frequently criticized for not hosting news conferences on significant state-related issues. Even as Chief Minister, jagan never saw it as his duty to address the public in front of the media about contentious matters such as the polavaram project, the three capitals, the Land Titling Act, Power Reforms, etc., despite the claims of his detractors that he lacks the courage and expertise to address such matters without having a paper in front of him.

Even YSRCP officials and sympathizers thought that jagan made a mistake and eventually paid the price after the election results by failing to oppose the NDA's campaign on the land titling laws and other important issues. Even though chandrababu naidu was going all out and issuing white papers in a hurry to expose the anomalies and inefficiencies during Jagan's administration, they were astonished by this quiet.

Jagan decided to confront the ruling party, and he spoke during a news conference earlier today. At first, he was furious with chandrababu naidu for moving on with a vote-on account and not revealing the whole state budget even one month after taking office. In response to concerns about law and order, jagan stated that the government is stifling opposition voices out of fear.

In response to Naidu's allegations that the debt has increased over the past five years, jagan attacked the tdp leader, accusing him of lying and making false claims that the debt has reached 14 lakh crores. He added that the state owed just 5 lakh 18 thousand crores when Naidu assumed office as chief minister. jagan said that despite the COVID-19 pandemic issue, his administration implemented several social programs.

Jagan also discussed the advancements made in polavaram projects while he was in office. During this news conference, he even talked about the Land Tiling Act for the first time.

Political analysts argue that it is too late to address these issues because the damage has already been done in the recent elections and because the people of the state have formed opinions about Jagan's regime, despite Jagan's supporters being happy that their leader has finally spoken out and confronted the media.
