bjp released its fifth list of candidates for the lok sabha elections 2024 on sunday (24 March) and also announced candidates for all the 21 lok sabha seats of Odisha. bjp has nominated Union minister dharmendra pradhan from Sambalpur and party spokesperson Sambit Patra from Puri. The party has expressed confidence in Aparajit Sarangi, the sitting mp from bhubaneswar, and has declared him as its candidate. Let us tell you that BJP's odisha unit President manmohan Samal had made it clear through a post on X handle on friday (22 March) that this time the party will field candidates on all the seats in Odisha. He had also said that bjp will field candidates on all 147 seats in the odisha assembly elections.

bjp has fielded pradeep Purohit from Odisha's Bargarh, Jual Oram from Sudargarh (ST), dharmendra pradhan from Sambalpur, Anant nayak from Keonjhar (ST), Naba Charan Majhi from Mayurbhanj (ST), pratap chandra sarangi from Balasore, abhimanyu from Bhadrak (SC). Sethi has been made the candidate.

111 candidates in BJP's fifth list

BJP has announced the names of 111 candidates in the fifth list for the lok sabha elections. Earlier, the bjp had announced the names of candidates for 291 lok sabha seats in four lists. bjp has set a target of winning at least 370 seats for itself and more than 400 seats for nda in the lok sabha elections. Let us tell you that general elections will be held in seven phases between april 19 and june 1 for 543 seats of the lok sabha and the counting of votes will start on june 4.
