congress released the sixth list of candidates for the lok sabha elections 2024 on monday (March 25, 2024). There are a total of five names in this list that came on the day of holi, out of which four are from rajasthan, while one is from tamil Nadu. In a statement issued by the All india congress Committee (AICC), it was also informed that congress President mallikarjun Kharge has approved the candidature of Dr. Tharhai Cuthbert in the by-election from tamil Nadu assembly seat number 233 Vilavancode.

All three names in this list were from rajasthan (Chandrapur, jaipur, and Dausa). congress has fielded former minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas from jaipur seat by removing its declared candidate sunil Sharma. This decision was taken after the controversy over newcomer sunil Sharma. sunil sharma had come into controversy over his alleged association with 'Jaipur Dialogue' which targeted Congress.
