Sonam Wangchuk, a social crusader, school reformer, and recipient of the Magsaysay Award, is fasting alongside a sizable number of locals.

On the social media site "X," Sonam Wangchuk posts a video every morning and evening with information about the movement. His body language, speech, and facial emotions all convey how much his condition has gotten worse as a result of the ongoing fast. Sonam Wangchuk frequently expresses in her videos how exhausted and low on energy she feels all the time. The fast began on march 23 and has already lasted for twenty-one days. It makes sense that someone's health would suffer in such circumstances.
