Nomination begins for first phase of voting in MP

The process of nomination of candidates started on wednesday (20 March) for the first phase of voting on lok sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh. On the other hand, congress has not yet announced the names of 18 candidates in Madhya Pradesh. congress leaders are now eagerly waiting for the announcement of the names of their candidates.

There is a possibility that the congress list may be released on march 21. bjp has already announced the names of candidates for all the 29 seats in the state. Let us tell you that voting for lok sabha elections is to be held in four phases in different areas of Madhya Pradesh. The first phase of these will be held on april 19, in which voting will be held for six lok sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh.

The process of filing nominations of candidates for Sidhi, Chhindwara, Mandla, Shahdol, Balaghat, jabalpur lok sabha seats of madhya pradesh will start from wednesday (20 March) which will continue till 27 March. Candidates can withdraw their nomination till 30 March.

'Congress is not getting candidates'

All the candidates fielded by bjp in madhya pradesh in the lok sabha elections have intensified their campaigning. congress has so far announced the names of candidates for only 11 seats in the state. The list of congress candidates for the remaining seats is likely to come by march 21. Regarding the delay in the congress list, chief minister Mohan Yadav has claimed that congress is not getting candidates in Madhya Pradesh.

Contenders waiting for the list

congress has announced its candidates for 11 out of 29 lok sabha seats in madhya pradesh, while continuous meetings are going on for the remaining 18 seats. According to State congress Committee spokesperson kk Mishra, the party may announce the candidates in the coming day or two. In congress, candidates are fielded following a complete process. He said that every party has its own process through which candidates contest elections.
