Reportedly former chhattisgarh state bjp president and former Union minister vishnu Deo Sai had sworn in as the next chief minister of chhattisgarh, the bjp said on Sunday. Former chhattisgarh state bjp president and former Union minister vishnu Deo Sai will be sworn in as the next chief minister of chhattisgarh, the bjp said on Sunday. The decision was taken at a meeting of BJP's newly elected 54 MLAs held in Raipur.

As per report Union ministers arjun Munda, Sarbananda Sonowal, party general secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam, three election observers, chhattisgarh party in-charge Om Mathur, Union minister Mansukh Mandavia and state co-in-charge Nitin Nabi were present during the meeting.


Earlier vishnu Deo Sai, 59, won the Gunguri constituency in North chhattisgarh in the recently concluded assembly elections. vishnu Deo Sai belonged to the Sahu tribal community with considerable influence in Sai Durg, raipur and bilaspur areas. Moreover in the recently concluded elections, bjp won 54 of the total 90 constituencies in the state. In 2018, congress won only 35 seats, winning 68 seats. The Gondwana Kanthandra party (GGP) won one seat.


Apparently vishnu Deo Sai has a long political experience and is a successful member of legislative assembly and Lok Sabha. He has also served as Union Joint minister from 2014 to 2019. He has also held many responsibilities in the party including human leader.
