In jaipur, Union minister Hardeep Singh puri has hit back at the statement of chief minister Ashok Gehlot. Hesaid that the average rate of petrol in the country is Rs 96 72 paise, while the highest rate per liter inSriganganagar, rajasthan is Rs 113 34 paise. He advised chief minister Gehlot to look inside his own heart.The Union minister said that energy consumption is increasing in the country. The demand is three times higherthan the world average. Therefore we have to import 80-85 percent crude oil. He said that the prices of crude oilare decided at the international level. Till november 2023, theVAT rate on petrol in rajasthan is 31.04 percent and on diesel is 19.03 percent.Because of that, today the petrol rate in jaipur is Rs 108 48 paise per liter, in Gandhinagar, gujarat it is Rs 9663 paise per liter and in lucknow it is Rs 96 53 paise. In jaipur, it is 11 rupees 85 paise more than inGandhinagar and by 11 rupees 91 paise more than in Lucknow. diesel price in jaipur today is Rs 93.72 per liter.The price of diesel in Gandhinagar, gujarat is Rs 88.03 per liter. It is cheaper by Rs 5 and 78 paise compared toRajasthan.
