Currently many questions will Shivraj government’s Mukhyamantri Laadli Behna scheme prove to be a game changer in Madhya

Pradesh assembly elections? This question is being discussed in the politics of the state for the last 7 months.

Now that only one week is left for voting, political pundits are deeply feeling the preparations of bjp at the

grassroots level and the impact of this plan. However, to counter this, congress has promised Nari Samman

Yojana if the government is formed, in which it has promised to give Rs 1500 per month as against Rs 1250

of Ladli Brahmin Yojana. At present, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and congress cm data-face Kamal

Nath are busy promoting their respective schemes to provide cash benefits to women.

Let us tell here that about 1 crore 31 lakh beneficiary women are included in the Mukhyamantri Laadli

Brahmin's scheme of Shivraj government. Under this scheme, which started from june 2023, women also got

the seventh installment on the 7th of this month. The ruling bharatiya janata party has announced to increase

the benefit of this scheme to Rs 3000 per month. To convert this scheme into vote cultivation in elections, BJP

has made extensive preparations at the grassroots level.

This is the figure of voters here

Before knowing the ground level impact of this scheme, let us also take a look at the number of voters in

Madhya Pradesh. The final publication of the voter list for the assembly elections 2023 in Madhya Pradesh

was done last month by the election commission of India. There are 7 districts in this voter list, where the

number of female voters is more than that of male voters. The interesting data is that out of these, 6 districts

are tribal dominated and these have majority of people living below the poverty line i.e. BPL ration card

holders. There are a total of 5 crore 61 lakh 36 thousand 229 voters in the state. This includes 2.88 crore male

and 2.72 crore female voters. Participation of women has increased in the new list. Now there are 945 women

voters compared to 1 thousand men, whereas in 2011 the gender ratio was 931 women per 1 thousand men.

There are more women voters than men on 29 seats.
