Telangana Rains Break Two Massive Records

On wednesday, telangana had record-breaking rains that had a profound impact on the lives of its citizens. mulugu District broke the record for the greatest 24-hour rainfall total ever recorded in telangana state on wednesday morning by recording 649.8 mm over the course of that day, which ended at 8:30 am. Additionally, telangana State broke the previous record for rainfall during that time with an average total rainfall of 97.7 mm.
Hyderabad, which has recently had a lot of rain, saw an excess of rain of about 300 percent over the previous week. The telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) reported that hyderabad saw 299 percent more rain than normal from July 19 to July 26, 2023. The city received 399.1 mm of rain cumulatively during the current South-West (SW) Monsoon, which is 53% more than the average of 260.5 mm.
Similarly to this, telangana state's average cumulative rainfall was 530.2 mm, which is 61 percent more than the average of 329.3 mm.
