P chidambaram statement on violence - but how to compare?

Senior congress leader and former Union minister P chidambaram has targeted the bjp government at the Center and the state over the ongoing caste violence in Manipur. Questioning the situation in Manipur, the congress leader said that ethnic cleansing has been completed. He said, Manipur government has failed. He also responded to BJP's allegations of violence against women in other states and how it can be compared with Manipur.

chidambaram posted, "Let us assume that incidents of violence against women took place in Bihar, West bengal and Rajasthan. How does this excuse the continuing brutal violence in Manipur? The congress leader questioned whether there are any Kukis left in the valley? Are there any Meiteis left in Churachandpur and other hill districts of Manipur? If the reports are true, the ethnic cleansing in Manipur is almost complete."

Fall of government in Manipur - Chidambaram

Chidambaram further said, "On an objective assessment, there has been a collapse of constitutional government in Manipur. The rule of the chief minister and his ministers does not extend beyond their homes and offices. How can the situation in Manipur be compared with the situation in Bihar, West bengal and Rajasthan? The central government has not only been incompetent and partisan, it has also been callous and callous when it hides behind scurrilous comparisons."
