CHENNAI: The artist government has brought innumerable schemes and led to progress for women. chief minister M.K.Stalin has announced that the Women's Entitlement Scheme will be named after the artist. He also said that equal right to property for women is a great gift of empowerment given to women by the Dravidian movement.


The scheme of providing Rs.1000 per month as women's rights amount announced by DMK in its election manifesto will be implemented from september 15. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of chief minister Stalin regarding the implementation of this project.

chief minister Stalin, speaking among the district heads and officers, said that such a big project has never been developed in the history of tamil Nadu. The tamil Nadu government has allocated Rs.7,000 crore for the Women's Entitlement Scheme. Social justice has been the guiding principle of tamil Nadu since the Justice party period till now.


Numerous schemes for women were implemented during the artist's regime. The artist has said that it is the government's achievement to enact property rights for women. The artist government implemented 33% reservation for women in local bodies for the first time in the country. Matriarchal social order has guided mankind since the beginning of time.
