Reflecting on that difficult time, honey singh shared, “When I didn’t work for 2-2.5 years, it was a terrible time. A young man is sitting at home and sleeping till 12:30 in the afternoon. Meanwhile, Papa goes to work and comes back. When he would look at me and our eyes would meet, I would feel a lot of shame that I am not earning and my father has to work at this age.”The rapper urged viewers to cherish their loved ones. He said, “My parents have done a lot for me. I couldn’t do anything for them. They just keep waiting for me and when I will come home and I can’t even sit at home. When I was at home, I was like a mad corpse. What have they seen till now? I have seen everything. Whoever is watching this documentary, I just ask them to take care of their parents. If they leave, they won’t come again.”
Honey Singh on his bipolar disorder
Honey Singh also provided insight into his battle with bipolar disorder. He revealed, “It was bipolar disorder. There were psychotic symptoms as well. What happens then is that your mind goes out of control. You start seeing dreams while you’re awake. I would get scared even when my maid used to come, thinking she’d be laughing at me, she was wiping blood off the floor, etc. It was a weird feeling. I thought I’d never be able to meet my parents again. I saw hell.
