The next film of kartik aaryan, ‘Chandu Champion’, has had mixed reviews but opened at Rs 4.75 crore, the actor's lowest opening in over a decade. Despite its extensive marketing, ‘Chandu Champion’ is up against the surprise smash supernatural thriller Munjya, which has captured and held the attention of moviegoers. On its eighth day of release, the film made almost one crore less than Kartik's flick, which grossed 3.35 crore. Day one earnings for ‘Munjya’ were 4 crore rupees, and that was with very little advertising and no big names. 'Munjya' is still doing strong in Week 2 at the box office.
