Whaatt..? Madhavan to play Rakul Preet's Father in Famous Sequel ?
The sequel to ajay Devgn's 2019 flick de de pyaar de was just revealed. The second sequel of de de pyaar de 2 will hit theatres on May 1, 2025, according to the film's creators. In the second portion, ajay and rakul Preet will make a comeback, although tabu is not expected to appear in DDPD 2. With de de pyaar de 2, directed by Anshul Sharma, ajay and R madhavan reunited. The most recent information on DDPD 2 is that Rakul's father would be portrayed by R Madhavan.
As to a report by Hindustan Times, Anil Kapoor's original role in de de pyaar de was confirmed. R madhavan was later cast by the filmmakers to play Rakul's father in the movie, though. Madhavan's character in de de pyaar de 2 will be Rakul's father. The film's narrative will now revolve around the amusing rivalry between ajay and madhavan over Rakul's character's relationship with a man who is older than her father.
Given that Anil is older than Ajay, the storyline wouldn't have had the intended effect with Anil, but with madhavan playing the part, it now matches the narrative nicely, a source told the magazine.
