According to a TOI report, Bengaluru City police on tuesday morning detained kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and his nine associates in a murder case. According to the police, this action has been taken in the case of murder of a man named Renukaswamy of Chitradurga. Swami was an assistant in a medical shop in Chitradurga and was recently married. According to the police, the deceased was first kidnapped from Chitradurga and was murdered in Kamakshipalya, the western part of the city. His body was recovered from a drain and had marks of physical injuries on it, which confirmed it to be a case of murder.
Bengaluru police said, "Kannada actor Darshan and his associate have been arrested, and are being questioned. Since it is still under investigation, we cannot give much information," the police is currently investigating the case.
